In a context of substantial growth in the security market, which is the level of awareness among users of each category of the levels of reliability of suppliers, professionalism of designers and the quality of products? Is the role of technical certifications, system and skills based on voluntary standard known ? All safety directives (UE) highlight the responsibility of the client  alongside the supplier to ensure the adequacy of the solutions to be adopted,but how widespread are the necessary skills?

On a different but parallel level, the recent events involving the world of so-called "ancillary" services, have highlighted the importance of respecting the rules also towards suppliers' employees and collaborators. If in order to win a contract, inadequate employment contracts are applied, prohibitions on labor intermediate are disregarded, contributions and/or taxes are evaded, the clients can also be called into question.

And this is a transversal theme that does not exclusively concern security services, but all categories of the supply chain, including installers.

In essence respecting the rules is not a question of ethics but protection of own business.
